Victorian Cafe Reviews

in Bend Oregon

Very Creative Menu!

Been here twice on trips to Bend and the meals have been outstanding both times. Very creative menu, great service, fantastic drinks. The specials menu always sticks out to me…. Constantly changing, and a creative diversity that you just don’t see that often even in a region known for it’s awesome food. Dare I say best Brunch I’ve had in the Pac NW?

Great service. Great vibe

.Very nice place for a breakfast. Food is good, but overpriced. Outside seating – the tables for four are tiny, and not comfortable for four people to eat at. Overwhole, we had a great breakfast and a good time.

Really good food.

Nice large menu. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Recommended. The bacon and cheddar omelet was great.

The food here is excellent

We have lived here for 10 years and It’s very hard to find flavorful food when you live in Central Oregon, this is one of a few spots we have found that is really good. We had an excellent server and were lucky to hit it when it was not too busy. This will be one of the places we take guests to when they visit from out of town.

Best Eggs Benedict ever!

By far the best hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict ever! The wait was worth the food and as for pricing I feel like you get what you pay for these days if you want cheap food I’m sure there is a Dennys somewhere nearby I will be back because that French toast looked amazing

Incredible food!!

Great service and delightful atmosphere. A bit of a tight squeeze for plus size folks in their booths, and there’s a wait to get in for a reason, it’s worth it!!! I had the Almond Crusted Brioche French Toast with Blueberries and Lemon Curd and it was DIVINE!! My hubs had the Crab Benedict with Avocado and Bacon added to it. We also got some of their delectable house made Applesauce to go after tasting it off our friends plate!

This place has awesome service.

We had a really icky start to our four-day vacation and into the second day we came here for breakfast. Oh my gosh my experience went from 0 to 100 with one meal! The staff all have a smile on their face and they welcome and make you feel like you’re special. The food was incredible. The atmosphere was quaint and cute. There’s indoor eating outdoor seating and the all-around best experience. I’ve had a long time. I have never seen a menu like theirs!!!

Top quality!

I’ve been here for brunch a couple times – the food is always exceptional. Really enjoy some of their breakfast scrambles and potato dishes, but everything we’ve tried has been very good. Large portions. Service sometimes a bit hit or miss. Be prepared to wait – even on weekdays it’s not uncommon to have 30-45 minute wait before being seated, especially if you’re looking for patio seating on a nice day. But it’s worth it!

Really warm and cozy place!

All the staff was very nice. They had an extensive Eggs Benedict selection, which was very exciting. I tried their pickle bloody Mary to see what all the hype is about, it was definitely delicious. Also tried their victorian chocolate winter, Yum! We will definitely be back. I only gave 4 stars for the atmosphere because the table they sat us at was in a high traffic area. I felt like that table shouldn’t exist, unless you want people ordering drinks at the bar to potentially fart in the direction of your food.

5 star all the way

Food, service and atmosphere. We went for Sunday brunch and the wife had caramel apple french toast. She loved it and she is French Toast aficionado. I enjoyed the Freeport Benedict and was blown away. The seafood was fresh with great flavor and the shiitake mushroom topped it off. My bloody Mary had plenty of spice and the wife’s mimosa went down quickly. We sat inside but the outside patio looked inviting.

Incredible experience well worth the wait!

We had bloody marys while we waited, which were amazing, and different benedicts. It was the first time I’ve seen my husband lose his mind over food, he loved it! We will definitely be going back tomorrow morning on our way out of town!

Uh yes please!!

I’ll be back here. I’m often leery of “best rated” tourist restaurants because they usually don’t live up to the hype. Well, this place did. What a cute little cafe with amazing food at a great price. This is the perfect breakfast destination in Bend. We enjoyed everything we got. The vibe was great. The only thing that would make it better would be if it were right on the River but oh well. It was tucked into a cozy and quiet neighborhood and had a wonderful atmosphere.

Best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had in my life!

We tried the crab Benedict and instantly regretted we weren’t staying in Bend long enough to come back for another meal. The menu was creative and I would love to indulge my way through it.

The food at The Victorian Café is always delicious

Their specials are always wonderful and exciting, but the regular menu will please no matter what you are looking for. Whether you are looking for a calorie-conscious option, a sweet indulgence or a scrumptious eggs Benedict option, this place will leave you satisfied. The service is great and the atmosphere is pleasant. Parking can be a bit of a pain because, well, it is a great place and lots of people love it.

My food was amazing!

The shrimp in the Chimichanga was cooked to perfection, so many amazing flavors! The raspberry lemon French toast was to die for! Yummy yummy yummy! I’m so sad this place is not in Texas! I’d be there once a week!

Awesome breakfast!

Homemade, quality items. I would highly recommend the hot chicken Benedict with the potatoes. Pancakes are perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, dough-ey on the inside. Great service and nice outdoor eating area. Lots of drinks options to choose from as well. The man-mosa is mostly champagne… which is great.

Cozy, family-friendly breakfast/lunch café

We had to park along the street and wait approximately 8 minutes for a table. Once seated, we were attended to quickly and efficiently. It was difficult to choose a couple of dishes since they all sounded good! We settled for the Pacific Crab Eggs Benedict, Earth Harvest Benedict, and Caramel Apple French Toast. Each dish was just… so delicious! Not overly flavored or heavy, and they tasted clean. In addition, all of the dishes were proportionate for their price. What really stood out was the Homemade Applesauce since we’ve never had anything like it before. We also ordered the Chai Tea, which came with a cinnamon stick, making it more authentic. We had a great experience here with both the food and hospitality. We hope to visit again soon!

Loved this place!!! Must go!

Came to Bend for the Fairwell Festival and friends from Portland had previously ate here and strongly recommended. Wanted to get an early 8am start but after all day in the sun at the festival we arrived between 1030-11a. Yes there was a wait, I was forewarned from my friends it’s usually a long line. There was, I was quoted 1hr 45 min…. Benefit of waiting at this restaurant is they have an outside bar w plenty of shaded seating to kick off the experience.
So I ordered the Triple Threat-they we’re out of the blackberry mimosa- and parked it. Wait took 1 hr 20 min. If you look over the menu there’s at least 10 things you probably want to try lol. On top of that when you are finally sat inside there is a daily special menu! This totally threw off what I thought I wanted and I opted into a prawn eggs benedict that was listed for the day. The food was phenomal. Service never skipped a beat. Clean restrooms. Lots of hot sauce. I have never felt like waiting an hour and a half for food was better used! Can’t wait to come back!
